Interesting article in the Harvard Biz Review by McKinsey partner arguing that business must
1. jettison its short-term orientation in favor of a longer-term focus. E
2. infuse organizations with the perspective that serving all major stakeholders is not at odds with maximizing corporate value.
3. bolster the power of boards to cure the ills stemming from dispersed and disengaged ownership
I doubt that is anything which runs against the grain for most readers of this blog but its quite a significant message to be coming from the beating heart of capitalism?
